Ten young designers from the Stuttgart State Fashion School are creating collections on the topic
*BOSS - NEXT* FW 2026. The theme comes from the the HUGO BOSS's creative management.
HUGO BOSS judges and awards the best collections with prize money. The award ceremony took place on 18 July 2025 at the Staatliche Modeschule Stuttgart.
We would like to thank HUGO BOSS for the super exciting and valuable campus tour, which offered comprehensive insights into the company as an introduction to the award. Also for the creative input, ideas, thoughts and the great and very individual feedback! Congratulations to the award winners!!!!
Michelle Högerle from Ruit received the 3rd prize of € 500 from the fashion company HUGO BOSS for her work *INDIVIDUALISTIC BRATS*. In her collection, she focusses on personal style and the individual options of being able to change the shape of the garments at will. She involves the consumer in the design process in order to inspire them and give them room for their own creativity. Casual and classic shapes stand side by side in her looks and open up a variety of possible combinations. Special features throughout her collection include placed details such as press buttons and eyelets for attaching patches and pendants.
The 2nd prize, endowed with € 1,000, goes to Tamara Kather from Leipzig, whose collection *This is trash* takes a critical look at her environment, her consumer habits and their effects. Thoughts on her own ideologies, desires and values are also incorporated. This leads her to the goal of creating her own authentic style that celebrates individuality and awareness. A classic design language, a touch of glamour in the details, high-quality materials and a natural colour concept characterise her work.
The 1st prize and € 1,500 went to Sophia Hansbauer from Altötting for her collection *Make it Capsule but make it You*. The starting point for her work is the idea of sustainability and the idea of a mindful collection of timeless basic pieces that are easy to combine and at the same time stylish and modern. She has created a collection that is skilfully and cleverly crafted down to the last detail, with designs that can be worn in many different ways, making every look unique and individual. Her collection concept is clear, pure and consistent and is based on classic dress shapes.
